The Cans4Films Festival helps highlight the issue of hunger.  In Australia, 2 million people rely on food relief every year and 1 million of these are children. The Festival reminds people that there are others less fortunate than themselves and gives everyone a very easy way to get involved in something positive.

During the Australia wide 2008 Cans4Films Festival you can swap a can of food for a free weekly DVD rental at participating video stores. Donate 2 cans and receive 3 free weekly rentals! With every can you donate, you're helping someone in need!

All cans collected at your local video store are provided to a local hunger relief provider. In other words, you are helping men, women and children in your local community who may otherwise go without a meal.

Conditions:  Tins must be 300g or greater in size (or approved by store staff). Tinned food must not be out of date. All renters must be a member of the store (membership is free). Late fees still apply if the DVD is not returned by the required date. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
