About the Cans4Films Festival

If 2009 has shown us anything, it’s that those Australians who are doing it tough, are doing it tougher than ever. But it’s also shown us that Australians are willing to band together to help out fellow Aussies.

Your participation in the Cans4Film Festival is more than just donating a can of food, you are also bringing the entire issue of hunger to the fore. All cans collected at your local video store will be donated to The Salvation Army, who will distribute them to a local hunger relief provider resulting in you helping men, women and children in your local community who may have otherwise gone without a meal.

So, like we say – it’s time to get your cans out!

Here's what you need to do to take part.......

• Visit your local participating Network Video store with a can of food during the month of August
• Donate the can of food to the Cans4Films Festival
• Take home a free movie rental

How easy is that? And to make things even better, if you donate two cans you’ll get three free movie rentals! Helping people has never been more entertaining.

The 2009 Cans4Films Festival will be held in participating Network Video stores throughout the month of August right across Australia.

You can use the Store Locator on our home page to find your nearest participating Network store, all of whom are looking forward to receiving your donations.
